These worksheets contain material for pair-work, group work 
and individual work for each of the chapters of this book about 
a young man's involvement in "the troubles".  The students should 
not look up the answers to their worksheets themselves, but should depend on their partners to give them the answers. 
The aim: collaborative learning.

Vocabulary lists and worksheets for Brian Friel's "Philadelphia Here I come" (play by Irish playwright)
 
T he vocabulary for this exceptional play was not in any standard dictionary, so help was sought from Maurice McAdam, an Irish colleague living in Geneva, and through him, from the Irish Mission to the UN.  Our undying gratitude to him, and to them. . . 
Since then, we have added worksheets (due to student insistence), 
for all the episodes.
