Florence Durand shares the following aspects of her work with us:

Tale writing . A description, in French, recounting the use of the computer lab to have the students write short tales.

My own students' short-story writing , based on Ron White, WRITING (Advanced) from the Oxford Supplementary Skills [Oxford University Press]. The description is in French.

Another writing adventure, with two classes.Students first read a work of literature, using (in our case) worksheets prepared more or less according to the ideas to be found in the book "Literature in the Language Classroom" by Joanne Collie and Stephen Slater (Cambridge Handbooks for Language Teachers, 1987), then they had to write a letter either to a character in the book, or from a character in the book we read. The students' writing is here ..

And, using another technological medium, video, here is a description - in English - recounting the work done by Beginning students in the Video Recording Studio .

A brief report about my use of Martin Holmes' MARKIN Software (written in French) which I presented at the International Conference held at the TECFA Institute of the University of Geneva - " Constructivismes : usages et perspectives en éducation" (held in Geneva from September 4^thto 8^th, 2000).
