ICT IN ART

Creating Graphics (Unit A6 and Unit B5)
Some graphics packages allow for the creation of original artwork. However, art teachers are more interested in the way in which they can create patterns, complementary patterns and patterns with variety. For example in textile design, computers enable students to see an overall result with less effort than by any other method.

In the design of posters and other printed matter, using more sophisticated graphical software ensures a professional product in minimum time, with the option to re-use or modify a design at will.

ICT in Music (Unit B6)
The way ICT can change the curriculum of music is fascinating. It gives students the possibility to compose and perform musical arrangements themselves without having problems with the technical aspects of notation and playing an instrument.

ICT in Dance
There is easy to use software for designing simple choreographs. This will help students to learn to perform the dancing.
